ELECTION DAY!

THIS A IS A PIVOTAL TIME IN OUR NATION.  VOTE!! AND TAKE OTHERS WITH YOU!

Election Day is Tuesday, November 5th—your chance to make your voice heard! Every vote counts, so take the opportunity to shape your community and influence the future. Encourage friends, family, and neighbors to head to the polls and exercise their civic duty. Here’s how you can help ensure that voices are heard and everyone has a chance to make an impact:

1. Get Informed and Share Knowledge

•Educate yourself on the candidates and issues that will be on the ballot. Knowledgeable voters are more confident and motivated to vote.

•Share reliable information with friends, family, and your community on important election dates, the impact of this election, and resources for researching candidates.

2. Encourage Voter Registration

•Make sure you and everyone you know is registered to vote! Hosting a voter registration drive or sharing online registration tools is a powerful way to increase turnout.

•Check voter registration deadlines and make them visible through social media or by sharing with local community groups.

3. Volunteer for Voter Outreach

•Join local groups working to get out the vote. Volunteers are often needed for phone banking, canvassing, and digital outreach to remind voters of deadlines and polling locations.

•Help with organizing and attending informational events, which can inspire people to become first-time voters or to vote consistently.

4. Drive to the Polls

•Offer transportation to and from polling locations for friends, family, or community members who may face mobility issues or lack reliable transportation.

•Connect with local organizations that provide rides to the polls, or coordinate a carpool system to reduce barriers to voting.

5. Provide Support for Early and Absentee Voting

•Inform your community about options for early voting or requesting absentee ballots. Many people don’t vote because of scheduling conflicts, so giving them options in advance can increase turnout.

•Volunteer to help others navigate the absentee or early voting process, especially for first-time or elderly voters.

6. Protect the Vote by Volunteering as a Poll Worker

•Poll workers are essential to a smooth election process. Many locations need more support, and helping in this capacity ensures that your community has access to a well-run polling site.

•Training is often provided, and it’s a fantastic way to directly support democracy on Election Day.

7. Promote Civic Engagement on Social Media

•Use your platforms to spread the word about the importance of voting in 2024. Share reminders, encourage voter registration, and use hashtags to amplify the message.

•Engaging on social media can encourage your followers and community to stay informed and participate.

Getting out the vote is a collaborative effort, and with everyone working together, we can ensure that 2024 sees high voter turnout and engaged communities. Let’s make this a year to remember!
